The Stargazer releases tomorrow!

Tomorrow, The Stargazer officially enters the world.

Which is a very calm and normal sentence to type about a book I have spent an unreasonable number of hours writing, rewriting, staring at, arguing with, loving, occasionally threatening, and eventually turning into an actual book.

But here we are.

The Stargazer releases tomorrow, September 1st!

If you’ve already preordered it—thank you. Truly. Somewhere along the way, this story stopped belonging only to me and started belonging to readers too, and watching that happen has been one of the strangest and loveliest parts of this whole experience.

And if you haven’t met Wren and Griffon yet, tomorrow is an excellent day to make some questionable fictional-life choices.

Inside you’ll find:

  • A brilliant, sheltered heroine who would very much like to make her own decisions—even the stupid ones
  • A morally gray former assassin who has opinions about those decisions
  • Reluctant allies
  • Forced proximity
  • Slow-burn romance
  • Magic, secrets, politics, and dangerous people with complicated motives
  • And two people who are absolutely, definitely, unquestionably not falling for each other

Obviously.

The Stargazer will be available on Amazon in ebook, paperback, and hardcover, and the ebook will also be available through Kindle Unlimited.

To everyone who has followed along while I worked toward this day, joined my newsletter, read an ARC, left a review, told a friend about the book, or simply listened to me talk about fictional people as though they were causing me very real problems:

Thank you.

Writing a book is a strangely solitary thing right up until suddenly…it isn’t.

Tomorrow, Wren’s story is officially out there. And I cannot wait for you to read it.

P.S. If you do read The Stargazer, reviews are enormously helpful to an indie author—whether they are thoughtful paragraphs or simply, “Griffon. That is all.” I will happily accept either.
